You're completely wrong, and here's why:
#1, You're just attacking Pattern personally and don't put forth any supporting evidence to back up your opinion. Fail.
#2, Your only argument seems to be 'you (Pattern) don't know what you're talking about because there is no hard info on the ships'.
From what is *currently* on SISI, we can at least see where the devs thinking is headed, at least in a general direction. Secondly, I think it's a *fair* assumption that the devs aren't going to make cruiser sized ships that have more peak performance than a BS, or even a BC. This places hard limits on what they're capable of.
Once you establish that, and the fact that they're still cruisers (with respect to cap size and base HP etc.) then you can start to project their maximum capabilities rather quickly in terms of possible peak DPS, peak EHP, peak tank and so on.
Pattern is correct in his OP. T3 ships probably won't provide any more peak performance when compared to existing ships, as CCP doesn't want existing ships to be eclipsed by the new class and rendered obsolete.
The ability to juggle a few slots or change a few stats here or there isn't going to change the overall performance of a T3 ship by a large enough margin so as to make them any more different or harder to kill than any other T2 cruiser out there. At the end of the day, they're just a cruiser, and will be killed just as easily as any other cruiser.
I'm sure that if you used a Curse or Zealot or Sac you could exceed the ability of a Legion quite easily in the roles of cap warfare, DPS or tank. In order for T3 to be relevant on the battlefield, T3 ships need to FAR EXCEED current ships capabilities if they're going to be worth the time and hassle to put one together.
People don't fly Marauders in PVP right now mostly due to cost, and they actually offer something significant in terms of raw performance. Imagine how averse people are going to be when it comes to flying something as frail as a cruiser that adds nothing new to a gang?
Personally, after reading useless post after useless post from you, I'm amazed that you can even remember to continue breathing.
